FROM BREEDERS’ CUP PRESS RELEASE
Breeders’ Cup Board of Directors voted Bill Farish, Jr., of Lane’s End Farm, as Board Chairman. Farish succeeds Tom Ludt, who has served as Chairman the past two years, and will remain a Director.
Farish was Breeders’ Cup Chairman from 2006 through April 2011. He will serve a two year-term.
“I am honored with the privilege to serve our nominators and our participating horsemen again as Breeders’ Cup Chairman,” said Farish. “I look forward to working with our Members and Directors to strengthen our organization and to continue our mission of growth and enhancement of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships as the leading international Thoroughbred racing event year after year.”
